Welcome
No prior experience is needed – what truly matters to us is your ability to provide a loving and supportive environment; someone who accepts difference, can think creatively, challenge assumptions, with staying power, a big heart and a sense of humour!
If you can offer full foster care, respite care or a grandparent type role, please contact us for an informal chat - we can answer any questions you may have.
We are not in fostering to make profit; we invest in our children and foster carers. We fund therapy and life story work, helping young people to make sense of their past. We also work alongside The Layberry Foundation, a charity organisation that offers support to young adults and those who have left care and need a helping hand in navigating their future.
“
A very long time ago, I was ranting at someone about the injustices in the world and she said to me, 'Marion, you can’t change the world, but you can flower where you are'. And I added, 'and if everyone did that, the world would be covered with flowers'.
I’ve kept this in my mind from that time on – and I quote it on every possible occasion!
