Welcome
ALL4U Fostering is a therapeutic fostering organisation based in the south and east of England. Therapeutic fostering is founded primarily on boundaries, structure and routine, while working to understand the cause of exhibiting behaviours in children and young people who may have dealt with trauma, abuse, or a severe disruption to their lives.
The Secure Base model is at the heart of what we do. It has its roots in attachment theory. This begins with understanding each child's needs and behaviour, and using everyday exchanges to offer sensitive caregiving to help children to recover from previous harmful experiences in close relationships.
We know the vital contributions our foster carers make, and in turn, we understand how crucial it is to support our foster families in the same secure base way.
Our aim is that foster care becomes a rewarding experience for the children and young people we look after, as well as our foster carers and their families.
We are a social enterprise, with close links to charitable trust, The Layberry Foundation; and we are a proud member of The Fairer Fostering Partnership.
“
A very long time ago, I was ranting at someone about the injustices in the world and she said to me, 'Marion, you can’t change the world, but you can flower where you are'. And I added, 'and if everyone did that, the world would be covered with flowers'.
I’ve kept this in my mind from that time on – and I quote it on every possible occasion!
